If you are in Palm Springs for the weekend, definitely make a note to stop by the Palm Springs Air Museum for a day of vintage aircraft carriers from World War II. A stunning total of 28 flyable planes are on display, inside three climate controlled hangars totaling 65,000 feet!
The museum contains the world's largest collection of flying World War II aircrafts. It is located on the North East side of the airport with access to the airport for flight demonstrations and visiting planes, research library, simulator and education center. That's just 7 minutes from Palms at Park!
Museum hours are 10am-5pm Monday-Friday with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas. The museum is available for catered events and site rentals.
