The Best Palm Springs Bachelorette Party Starts with the Right Airbnb

5 Palms Estate's Dining Table for 12

5 Palms Estate in Palm Springs sleeps 12 adults (the legal max in Palm Springs for a house of any size!)

Planning a Palm Springs bachelorette party can seem like a daunting task. There are rentals galore on Airbnb and Vrbo but how do you choose?

While we hate these types of calls, since we designed and built Palms at Park in 2015 to meet the needs of large groups looking for the best bachelorette Airbnb, we’ve received frantic calls from guests that booked a (usually cheaper) house and arrived to disappointment. Don’t be that person!

We’d love it if you stay with us, but even if you don’t, be sure to scrutinize those listings. Here are our tips on what you should be looking for:

  1. Go bigger than 3 bedrooms.

When Palm Springs was developed, most homes were built with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. For bachelorette Airbnbs, that’s just not going to cut it… and there’s the thing with sharing bathrooms. To help narrow the field to newer and larger homes, filter out those 3/2s and go for 5 bedrooms and larger. Consider filtering for the same number of bedrooms and bathrooms in order to ensure that everyone in the group has their own en suite.

  2. Look for newer homes.

Mid-century Modern is great but it can be challenging for all but the best homeowners to maintain homes that are 60 or 70 years old. To avoid the risk of sub-standard air conditioning and mysterious carpet smells, consider focusing your search on homes that fit your aesthetic but are newly built.

  3. Scrutinize those photos.

The best homes for your bachelorette weekend are owned or managed by professionals who take pride in showcasing them. If the photos give you pause, you need to pass. Photos should be crisp and clear, bright and sunny and show wide open angles to give you a feel for the property.

  4. Find the home’s website and contact the host!

We can’t emphasize this enough. When you book through a third party, you are one step removed from the people that are going to make your Bachelorette unforgettable (or not!) Professionally managed homes should have their own websites (like this one!) where you can contact the owners directly and discuss the details of your stay. Ask lots of questions!

Savings Tip: When you book directly with us, you save not only the “Service Fee” that third party sites charge but we also often charge less on our site than we do through Airbnb or Vrbo.

  5. Consider Palms at Park

Ok, we admit it. We’re biased. But we did design and build three of the best vacation rentals in Palm Springs, just for groups. We have two homes with 5 bedrooms and one with 6. All of our houses feature:

  • 5 or 6 Bedrooms

  • Private Bathrooms in Every Bedroom (Really.)

  • Sparkling Swimming Pools

  • Oversized Hot Tub

  • New Construction (No Older than 2015)

  • Direct Contact with Us, the Owners!
